While I was in Target doing some college shopping, I came across a set of 10 e.l.f. mini nail polishes for only $10!! There were a few different sets, but I chose my favorite and put together some photographs for you guys because I simply had to share.

IT'S FINALLY HERE!! The sale that I know we have all been waiting all summer for! Despite the brief backup that the website had this morning, the sale is a total success! The dress I wanted to buy sold out quite quickly, but I decided to buy the Nina dress (pictured below), instead! I also purchased a bangle in Lucky Charms because it was marked down to only $19!! What did you guys buy?? Let me know in the comments below and I'll post all of your great finds! ALSO, The Lifeguard Press is hosting it's own Endless Summer Sale on select Lilly Pulitzer Items! Head over and check it out here.
Hello everyone! So as we all know, late summer is a very awkward time for style because we're all kind of done with summer brights and way too ready for fall fashion. When all of our favorite brands release their autumn collections in August and we are intrigued to look at it (and possibly purchase it), it stinks because we cannot wear it right away. I work at a Banana Republic store and because I am surrounded with fall clothing all day, I can't find myself wanting to wear my summer tunics to work anymore. My solution has been to wear plenty of neutrals. Neutrals! Neutrals! Neutrals! I can't get enough haha. I have been spicing up my looks with festive lips and big jewelry. Today, my momma and I decided to have a photoshoot because I'm trying out my new look for the [late summer] fall: a middle part! What do you guys think?? Sweater: INC.

Crew Bracelet: Sorelli Ring: Heirloom So I've been up to here with shopping for college supplies lately. I've been thinking of all the toiletries, food, and clothing I might need and school supplies is about the furthest thing from my mind! In order to get myself in the right state of mind, I'm posting a few cute backpacks that you might like to prepare yourself for college in a few weeks. The Jansport Right Pack is what I ended up getting for next year just because it's very nondescript and I honestly only think I'll be using a backpack when it's too cold up in Syracuse to lug around a purse and my laptop. This is the backpack that Lauren got for the fall. She had bought a Vera Bradley backpack her freshman year in high school, and it lasted all four years which is why she wanted to buy another one. This particular backpack has a laptop sleeve in it which was also appealing to her. This is another one of the backpacks I considered. It's a NorthFace Borealis Backpack, and is very durable. This one is also very nondescript, but it comes in a variety of different colors which is nice. I'm sorry, but I had to post these two laptop sleeves which I am currently drooling over. The top one is the Henri Bendel Disturbed Stripe Laptop Sleeve, and the one below is the Flame Jonathan Adler Laptop Sleeve. I do not think I'll end up actually getting either of them, but they are both definitely on my wishlist.
Hi guys! I am super excited to share with you MY NEW YOUTUBE CHANNEL!! I will be reviewing beauty products, awesome sales, brands I love, and much more! I have been really into watching video blogs on Youtube lately, and I figured making my own channel would just be a bunch of fun!
The first video I uploaded is a shopping haul type video featuring the items that my best friend, Lauren, and I purchased at Tommy Hilfiger and Ulta. If you guys would like to request videos, feel free to do so in the comments below either this post or the Youtube video, itself. Also, you can email me at anytime with ideas for upcoming videos! You guys are the best! HERE is my channel! And HERE is my first video! Also, I tried to fix those hyperlinks, but I was told the they may not work for some people, so if that is the case for you here are the URL addresses: http://www.youtube.com/user/sophiesaysblog?feature=watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsrIjoyvNX8 It's that time of year, again! That's right, no one can hide their excitement during one of the four times a year when a new Lilly Pulitzer collection is released! I absolutely ah-dore all of the new dresses, they make me wish I was still in high school and could wear one the the homecoming fall formal. Take a look! I may or may not already be saving up for this new chevron Else top in "Multi Hearts A Flutter" print, modeled beautifully by miss Elsa Hosk, herself. Did someone say Gatsby? This new Kirkland Dress may be my favorite item from the catalogue, but I think I like it better in the "Mambo Pink Of Corsage" print; this one isn't pink enough for me haha! If you need to look like Blair Waldorf for any reason (perhaps just because you idolize her like Lauren does), here's your dress! And to finish off the collection, the perfect dresses to wear to a greek formal or a Gossip Girl-esque thanksgiving dinner that you would need to be dressed to the nines for.
These are only a few of the new pieces, but I encourage you to check out the rest! |
