Hello everyone! Happy Tuesday! Unfortunately I'm not so happy today because I'm terribly sick, but at least I have something to cheer me up. Tegan and Sara just released their lastest album, "Heartthrob." Because I haven't been able to sleep I've been listening to this album and I simply cannot get enough of it. This music is indie but with a twist of pop. All of the songs are so well written, and on iTunes, the album even comes with the "Closer" official music video. Check out this awesome album!

There are just some things about living in a small town that make me never want to leave. For instance, a friend of mine and I were at the park playing lacrosse about an hour ago and we noticed how the sky was beginning to change in its preparation for the sun to go down. We got in his car and decided to chase it. Both him and I were eager to get the best photograph of it that we could, and we didn't want to miss it. Racing up winding roads in his big red SUV, we reached the highest point in our town just as the light was at its sweetest right before it disappeared altogether.
TGIF!! To celebrate the beginning of the weekend, I decided to start my Polaroid project! I can only give you a preview right now, but keep reading and I'll post my developed film soon enough!
Here are a few snapshots I took with my phone of one of my sets. I thought it would only be fitting to edit them so that they looked like instant photographs.
While you're waiting for my real photographs, check out The Impossible Project website!
Hi! This is the last post about my favorite apps (for now) and although I couldn't fit these next few apps into any specific category, I still think they deserve to me mentioned because I use each if them excessively.
You should all know by now (if you are a regular reader) that I love Pinterest. The fact that I now have a Pinterest app in my pocket at all times is dangerous and I'll leave it at that. Haha.
Everyone reading this should get a Cinemagram!! Cinemagram is like Instagram, but for short videos. I am explaining this because apparently not a lot of people know what it is. Not very many of my friends have Cinemagram accounts, but I love mine (probably because I love videography).
Pulse. What a great name for an app that always keeps you updated. You can use this app to notify you whenever anyone of your favorite blogs gets updated. I primarily fill my feed with fashion blogs, but I have a few news and technology blogs that I read as well. Trust me, you'll want to thank me once you begin using this app!
Happy Thursday! Today I'd like to share a few of my favorite apps that keep me productive and less distracted! Since I am a person with low attention span, I like to get my work done as efficiently as possible.
The first app that I love is called Secret Notes. This app lets me write down all of my crazy thoughts on a notepad that only I can access. When I have brilliant ideas that I would like to keep private for one reason or another (like blog posts before I publish them) I scribble them down in this virtual notepad that I can lock with a personalized password.
I love having accessibility to my Google Drive on my phone because this allows me to edit my Google Documents wherever and whenever. I keep all of my school assignments in my Google Drive, and now that I have it on my phone, whenever I get a free minute, I am able to get work done and stay ahead.
I am taking AP English Literature this year as well as several other very rigorous courses. With my heavy workload and short attention span, it sometimes becomes difficult to find time to sit down and read all of the English literature that I am assigned. I like listening to Audiobooks because then I can understand the difficult works while I am doing other things like cleaning my room, eating, or getting ready in the morning. Doing this really clears my mind and I love being able to access so many classics for free at my fingertips.
I just discovered the app for Weebly yesterday, and, as you can see with my recent blog posts, I am already utilizing this app to its fullest! I am planning on blogging so much more often now that I know I can post from wherever I am and whenever. Get ready!
Hello, all. This past Christmas, I got my first iPhone—the iPhone 5. Because I am still currently addicted (I'm even writing this post from my iPhone!), I have decided it would be a great idea to write about all of my favorite apps that have recently engulfed my free time. I thought the best way to publish this article would be in a series (because I have so many favorite apps!). This firsts post will be about photography apps because you all know very well how much I love photography! Here are all of my photography apps (so far):
The first app I'm going to talk about is Afterglow. This app is the one that I pretty much run all of my snapshots through no matter what. I love all of the light leaks that this app offers and it's so easy to use.
My next favorite photography app is called Over. This app allows you to add text to your photographs if you want to give them a deeper feeling. I live this app for quick Instagram posts because it really lets your individuality shine through.
iMajiCam is a great app for really distorting your photos. There are a few preset filters that it offers, but most of the other options are unique. I love using this app on party pictures because it adds that little extra umph of fun.
Visage Lab is another unique app because it works specifically on smoothing the look of skin and whitening teeth. There are a few other features that it includes (along with vintage filters), but all of them contribute to making the subject of the photograph look even more beautiful.
Hello! I have very exciting news! If you have not heard of The Impossible Project yet, then I'm delighted to be the first to introduce you to it. If you have, then hopefully you share my enthusiasm. I was generously given some film to write an article about the organization, and I will be doing so shortly. Get ready to read all about The Impossible Project and see the photographs I have taken!
