While I was thrifting the other day with matt, we came across this camera in the back of the store for only $2.92! He was nice enough to buy me the camera even though he isn't the biggest supporter of my photography. I have shot a whole role of film with it so far, but I have yet to get it developed, so this camera is truly a mystery until then. I promise to share my photographs once I do get a chance to develop them!
This was my grandmother's camera from the 1960's. She was delighted to give it to me last year because she knew I would use it well and I do! I absolutely love this little beauty. In the research I did, I found out that it is, to this day, the number one ranked most selling camera. This little beaut came out and was one of the first cameras that was made affordable to the general public so, naturally, everyone had one. This camera was also nicknamed 'the brick' both because of it's size and weight. I'm not kidding, this thing is a brick. It is annoying to lug around, but I sure to get some beautiful shots out of this one because it is still in full-working condition! After all these years!!
