3 | CHANEL Lotion Douceur & CHANEL Le Coton
Hello, hello. As the second semester has taken flight and I am getting used to my daily grind once again, I thought that it would be a good idea to share my morning routine to potentially help you get back into the swing of things, too. I have been trying out various face washes, toners, and moisturizers since I have been here, and I have discovered my go-to selection for this time of the year. As the year goes on, our skin changes with the seasonal climate and weekly weather, and at this time of year in Syracuse, it is C-O-L-D. So happy that I go to school in the snowiest city in all of America (including Alaska)! We really only have two seasons up here, summer and winter. The fall and spring are unfortunately only around two weeks long a piece, which makes it super difficult for your skin to transition seasons without freaking out, which is why I am using a combination of three products right now that keep my skin hydrated and feeling silky even with the dry heat pumping through my tiny, century-old apartment.
1 | Boscia Makeup-Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil
This is my secret weapon. This product is the perfect combination of a makeup remover, facial cleanser, cooling refresher, and hydrating oil. It was featured as a Sephora Daily Obsession a little while back and after reading a few reviews from fellow bloggers of mine, I was ready to try it out. I love that it comes in both 1.7oz size and 5.0oz size because if you are just trying it out for the first time, like me, and don't know if it's the worth the price yet, you have this alternate option. This size is also nice to have for travel because trust me, you won't want to leave it behind!
2 | Philosophy Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser
Over the years, I have tried many different facial cleansers, but never have I come across one that leaves my face so clean and silky soft feeling! Usually, I find that face washes either are too harsh on my skin, or leave me still feeling oily. This product's texture is smooth and goes on so creamy but washes off all the way leaving your skin brighter and ready for the day. The other great thing about this cleanser is that it comes in a variety of sizes like the Boscia Cleansing Oil!
3 | CHANEL Lotion Douceur & CHANEL Le Coton
This toner was a bit of a splurge for me because for a while I couldn't justify spending over $60 on toner and cotton, but when I tried it out, I was amazed. I talked about wanting these items a while back in my Currently Craving post and I am thrilled that I ended up purchasing them. You know how sometimes when you're transitioning from your day look to your night look but don't feel like washing your face entirely and you just go for a make-up wipe but it doesn't quite leave your face feeling clean? Well, next time, use this toner right after and you will not be disappointed!
Have a happy Tuesday! Xoxo
