Hello hello friends. New school year, new me! (Am I right?) And that means new beauty products to start the year off right! I wanted to show you what's on my wishlist right now incase you're thinking of making any beginning-of-the-school-year purchases and need inspiration.
1 | Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Blur Primer
Okay, I'll be completely honest, this product is on a truck in the middle of the country somewhere on its way to me right now. I couldn't resist and bought it right after I finished my internship because I thought I deserved to treat myself, right? If you haven't heard of this product yet, it's because its brand new, but it has been blowing up the internet lately so of course it was on my radar. A primer with gold shimmer in it, you say? Sign me up!
2 | Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Silky Sensual Radiant Lipstick in #07 Lingerie Pink
If you follow my blog, then you know that I recently fell in love with the YSL lipstick collection. Their packaging, the way they apply, the way they smell, their taste, everything about these lipsticks is everything haha. The shade I have my eye on right now is #07 Lingerie Pink because I know my summer tan would last (or at least look like it's lasting) so much longer with a soft pink across my lips.
3 | GLAMpetite Makeup Box
There is nothing I want more in the world right now than a GLAMbox. These babies are right on trend and made to do two things: organize and decorate. Those are my two favorite hobbies! Why would I not want an item that gives me a special spot for all of my special products and shows off how pretty they are at the same time??
4 | Diptyque Candle
5 | Diptyque Room Spray
I'm lumping these two products together because I really don't see myself burning a lot of candles this year since I'm living in an old apartment, but I love love love candles for their aromatherapy, so I think I may have to settle for the Room Spray. I have been seeing Diptyque Candles everywhere. And I have never been one to copy what everyone else is doing, however, as a blogger I feel it is my duty to take current trends and make them my own in order to inspire all of my lovely readers! Which scent should I try??
6 | Chanel Lotion Doucuer
I always use bar soap to wash my face and although I've tried different cleansers over the years, I stand by this method. My skin is strong and can handle it. Because I have been doing this for 20 years though, I feel that my skin is growing used to this method and beginning to build up natural oils again. I used to love toning my face with either Sea Breeze or the Proactiv Toner, but somewhere in the mix, I ran out and never replenished...with anything. So I have been toner-less for ages and now that I am entering my twenties and my face is building oil and begging for some better treatment, I have decided to test out this toner...just as soon as I can afford it haha.
7 | Chanel Le Coton
...and with the right tool of course (that comes in a really pretty box) 😉
