You don't hear that phrase too often, do you? I knew wanted a good, productive start to the week, so after I had my morning coffee, I stepped outside to snip some color from my garden. While brightening up my vanity, I remembered one of my favorite summer perfumes, Wildbloom by Banana Republic, so I pulled it out of a drawer and used it for the first time since last year. It still smells as crisp as the first time I used it! So, today I'm feeling fresh.

Whether I'm shopping, grabbing coffee, or sitting down for a breather, I will always have my eyes on my 5.5" screen. And, you know what? I'm not ashamed. Technology is not who I am, but it is involved in everything I do. I am a technology major, a fashion blogger, and a huge nerd. I love coding, photo editing, social media, and pretty much everything I can do on my phone.
This is me every. single. day. On my phone. So we all know Lilly for Target was a bust, right? Well since I was not able to make it to a Target that day, my mom planned on going for me. She told me that even though she got there at 8:11a.m., she still came out empty handed. She lied! When I came home from school, these beautiful candle votives and lip colors were sitting on my bed waiting for me! She may not have been as successful as some (very few) women were, but I still cherish these little tokens as a memory of the day that blew up the Internet.
This Spring and Summer I have been seeing tassels EVERYWHERE! Every fashion icon, blogger, and magazine has been sharing how they style their tassel jewelry, so of course I wanted some of my own to rock. The only problem was, since tassel fashion is such a hot trend right now, the prices of these pieces are way hiked up. Being me, rather than spending a pretty penny on some trendy jewelry, I decided to make a few pieces of my own! I used a mixture of beads from necklaces I already owned but never wore, and some new beads I picked up (on sale!) at my local Michaels. Originally I thought I might sell some pieces on Etsy, but I'm enjoying wearing all of these statement jewels too much! Keep an eye out for more in my future posts...
I am currently OBSESSED with these mini Buxom Lip Glosses! They were a Christmas gift from my best friend, Lauren, and she knows me way too well. She knows that one color simply is not enough for me. I like having choices when it comes to makeup and accessories, so I have been taking the entire 6-pack of lip glosses everywhere I go! They are mini, so I can easily stash them in an inside pocket of any purse I own, talk about portable!
Adding a candle to any setup of decorations in a room is always that extra touch you need. I love nesting and adding little splashes of color here and there. This year, I discovered that adding a simple, sweet scent to any room just makes the ambiance pop that much more. I tend to choose the candles that don't only smell great, but look beautiful, too. These red and blue candles were the exact touch that I needed to add to this tiny space.
Red Current Votivo Goji Tarocco Orange Voluspa Volcano Capri Blue Who here knows what a Ringly is?! If you don't, let me fill you in because I am OBSESSED with mine!
Ringlys are rings made of precious and semi-precious stones set in 18k plated gold that connect with your phone through Bluetooth to notify you when anything happens. Not only are they super stylish and go with everything, but they are also so helpful when you are shopping or out to lunch and don't want to be bothered by holding your phone the whole time. There are 5 different colors and 4 different vibration settings that you can pair up to make your notifications completely customized. For example, my Ringly buzzes once and lights up hot pink each time I get an Instagram like! As you can probably tell, I love my Ringly and would definitely recommend checking them out! If you get one, be sure to show me how you #RockYourRingly! As I was doing my hair today, I realized that I had quite a vibrant color scheme going on with all of my products and accessories! This Bed Head Spoil Me Hairspray is perfect for my hair. It smooths your frizz down while locking in curls and letting them breathe. I hate hairspray that I can feel on my hair throughout the day, so I chose one that I only know is there when I get a lovely waft of it. Mmm fruity!
I love wearing loud patterns and bright colors, especially pink, so I had to buy this shirt because I thought it was the funniest contradiction to my everyday wardrobe. I got a great deal on it at TJ Maxx and paired it with some staple distressed white denim shorts from Target, but I had a little fun with my accessories. The purse, shoes, sunglasses, and headphones were all birthday presents from a little over a week ago, so I wanted to show them off. I dressed up my plain everyday bag with this Tory Burch Banana Key Fob that is just so cute. These special sandals are from Anthropologie and I have yet to wear them without receiving a compliment! The headphones I love because I am obsessed with bling! My boyfriend purchased them for me from BaubleBar and they came with a second set of rhinestone-studded caps and earrings, talk about an added bonus! And great for me because I own very little rose gold. I've linked all of the details, hope you all are having a happy Friday!
