So I recently got home from a vacation in Saratoga Springs, New York! It was possibly the best vacation I have ever taken, and I have traveled to a LOT of places. We stayed in the most adorable little shopping town, and drove to Lake George everyday where we docked our boat. We shopped in little towns around the perimeter of the lake where we would dock for lunch or whatever. My favorite one was called Bolton Landing. Check out all the snapshots I took!

Girl I'd love to know what you do to break in your Jacks. I have 3 pairs and the heel is just so hard that walking a long time hurts :/ any advice? LOVE the blog! New reader for sure!

Hi Jamie! Well, I work about 7 hours a day, and being in retail, I'm constantly on my feet, so good shoes are a necessity. To break in my jacks, I wore them for two long shifts over two consecutive days. They hurt my feet a lot at first, but now they're basically my most comfortable shoes (besides my sperrys, of course!). Also, I have wider feet and was intimidated by how narrow I always heard jacks were, so I ordered a half size up, and now that they're broken in I really wish I hadn't done that because they're loose sometimes. I would definitely recommend staying true to size even if you do think they're tight at first. Thanks for reading!
